Coes set us the task of creating a campaign for Autumn which talked about their vast selection of Autumn essentials. We have been working with Coes for the past three years, previous campaigns were focussed around nature this time we wanted to stay urban. Our focus was on preparing people for temperamental seasonal change by championing The art of layering.
Adding new layers and combining materials, textures, patterns and colour creates a variety of outfits to work with all eventualities. Coes customers are encouraged to experiment with different looks ‘at every level’ and reveal more about their style and personality.
Coes brand pillars are at the forefront of every campaign we create for them, to reinforce what it really means to be apart of Coes.

We have created a design system which combines layers of colour to represent the skin temperature system cool - hot. Bold, bright graphics and typography attract attention and are used throughout the campaign in design, Window displays, website, social, email marketing, advertising and promotional mailers.
The campaign line “Take layering to a whole new level” set the tone for the photoshoot - up high on a skyline catwalk above Norwich Road, Ipswich.
Models were selected from Coes customers and we create the campaign imagery based on our moodboards and art direction. A challenging shoot, on many levels, but even with soaring temperatures and a slightly unconventional shoot location all participants, stylists and crew did great.
