This week marks the launch of Coes “Occasions’.
In Summer 2017 we were asked to create a new Hirewear brochure for Coes, Goddards and Goldings. With their philosophy being ‘'we don't just provide suits; we build outfits for the most important days of people's lives'.
We saw this brief as an opportunity to raise the profile of this department and draw attention to the fact that they are a ‘Go to destination’ for all Men’s Occasion wear : to hire, to buy or made-to-measure. We created a new sub-brand called “Occasions’. Occasions covers all eventualities, from Weddings, Proms, Awards dinners etc. The identity is based on the “O” of Occasions and is a device we use throughout the design and execution of all the assets created.
The Occasions department is not an off-the-peg experience, it is all about the individual and giving them the options to make an outfit their own. Attention to detail and customisation is really important to their customers and demonstrating the ‘little touches’ make every Occasions outfit feel really special.
The brochure design was created to feel classic & sophisticated. A beautiful soft touch laminate, High gloss copper foil on luxurious Fedrigoni papers expertly printed by Five Castles Press, Ipswich. The Coes branding we undertook in 2016 influenced the design and style of this work and seamlessly extends from their core identity. We worked with the team at Coes and copy writer, Emma Lightfoot, to finesse and express the sentiment and service they offer. Brochures available in store and can be requested from Coes.co.uk
